Duties:
The Coastal Chapter of Mississippi Master Naturalist have adopted 3 survey routes on the coast to monitor for nightjar activity in the summer as part of the Nightjar Survey Network's community science monitoring efforts. These surveys consist of driving a predetermined route and stopping along points to listen for nightjars. This is an evening activity (8pm to 11 pm).
